N.Y. to S.F. for Less Than $20

A while back I looked at two electric cars attempting to circle the globe.  It seems that these electric vehicle companies have quite the spirit of adventure when testing their products.

For Evelo’s electric bikes, that means crossing the U.S. on less than $20 worth of electricity.  This feat was just accomplished as the team finished their journey from New York to San Francisco.  The trip was an opportunity to raise awareness about electric bicycles, and to show-off how simple and effective they are.
