Earth Hour

It may look like a party, but it’s a very successful way to raise awareness about climate change issues on a global scale. On Saturday, March 27, at 8:30 pm, everyone will once again be able to show their support for Mother Earth by turning off the lights for one hour. In 2009, 4,159 cities and towns across 88 countries, including 73 national capitals and 9 of the world’s 10 most populated cities participated in the event. One billion people can’t be wrong.
